Karen & Bill's Wedding - Avon Old Farms Hotel

They are a long time coming, but as promised, here are some more images from Karen and Bill's spectacular wedding at Avon Old Farms Hotel.

Karen's dad had this really cool Volvo convertible and we thought it would make a great prop!

Karen and Bill's wedding took place right after storm Alfred, but we were brave and fought the downed tree limbs and knocked over flower pots and got some great shots.

Cookie Creatives by Jennifer created the amazing cookie place cards.  To see some great images of Jennifer's creations sans plastic baggies, please visit her website at the following link.  These are truly works of art.   http://cookiecreatives.com/

Karen & Bill's Wedding - Avon Old Farms Hotel

Karen and Bill were married on November 5th, 2011.  From the moment I first met them I knew that these are two people who are meant to be together.  They had a lovely ceremony and reception at the Avon Old Farms Hotel.  Here are a few "sneak peeks" of their getting ready shots.  Stay tuned...

Bill gave Karen her very first card addressed "To My Wife."

As you can tell, Karen loves color.  Her bouquet was simply stunning....not to mention those shoes!

Karen's gown was absolutely perfect and a joy to photograph.  It begged to be the star of a classically posed photograph.

Bill is such a gentle spirit.  He was so intent on making sure that all of Karen's dreams came true on their wedding day.  Bill brought rememberances of his dad and grandfather in his cufflinks, pocket watch and ring.

These two images were taken by my young and very talented assistant photographer, Sarah.

Bill and his lovely mom take a moment to remember loved ones...

Here is Sarah's creative eye at work, once again.  I love how she caught Bill's nephew watching me take Bill's portrait.

...and the happy couple.  Stay tuned for more to come.

Meghan & Mike's Wedding - Birch Meadow Banquet Facility, Bloomfield

It was so nice to spend the day with Meghan and Mike and their lovely friends and family.  Having already photographed the wedding of two of their bridal party, it was like seeing old friends.  We thought we were going to luck out and get a break in the rain for the ceremony, but just before the ceremony began it started to rain.  But Meghan and Mike soldiered through, and it was beautiful. You know what they say, rain on your wedding day is good luck!
